Cricket Blast Competition

Formally known as Master Blasters, Cricket Blast Competition is a great place for kids to start their cricket journey in a team format. The season runs through Term 4 and Term 1 of the following year. All games are played at Seymour Shaw Oval. There is two time slots for games with games beging at 8am and 10am and are completed in 90 minutes which goes by in a flash.

Games are modified, so you bat in pairs, if you get out you just swap ends. Each pair bat for 4 overs, each team has 3 batting pairs and we try to keep team number to 6 so everyone gets a go each week. Everyone gets a bowl, every one gets to wicketkeep, this is all about participation!

We run a training session for all Cricket Blast Competition players on Friday evenings from 5:30pm to help the boys and girls develop their skills even further.
